The plane landed at 11:26 p.m., according to White House pool reports. The president then waved before boarding the Marine One helicopter for the flight to Bedminster.
Trump has no public schedule while in New Jersey, though is scheduled to have dinner with campaign contributors on Saturday evening at the golf club, according to the White House.
It was his first visit to Bedminster since mid-August. Until this month-long absence, Trump had been a frequent guest there, including a 12-day stay while renovations were being made to the White House.
The president flew in from Missouri, where he held a rally in support of state Attorney General Josh Hawley, who is running against Democratic U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill.
Trump also put in a plug for his U.S. Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, whose confirmation vote was delayed after Christine Blasey Ford, a research psychologist, said he sexually assaulted her while both were in high school.

The day before, Trump was in Nevada to stump for endangered Republican U.S. Sen. Dean Heller.
He is seeking to retain Republican control of the Senate, where the party now holds a narrow 51-49 edge.
Trump carried Missouri in 2016 but lost Nevada to Hillary Clinton.
He is scheduled to depart Bedminster Sunday afternoon for New York City, where he will be attending the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly. On Sunday evening, he is to have dinner with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
