Saturday’s winning numbers were: 05, 26, 36, 64 and 69. The Power Ball drawn was 19. with a Megaplier of 3X.
No one hit the $40 million jackpot on Wednesday. There were also no second-prize, $1 million tickets purchased across the country.
In New Jersey, the largest prize won by a single ticket was $200.
Wednesday’s winning numbers were: 19, 43, 47, 60 and 68. The Power Ball drawn was 10 with a Megaplier of 2X.
The jackpot has been won three times this year. On March 27, Manuel Franco, of West Allis, Wisconsin won the $768.4 million prize, the third biggest in U.S. lottery history. On June 1, Charles Jackson Jr., a 66-year-old grandfather from Cumberland County, North Carolina, claimed the $344.6 million Powerball prize. Then on July 13, someone in Hendersonville, Tennessee hit the $198 million jackpot.
The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million.
Powerball is played on Wednesday and Saturday in 44 states, Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
In March, Michael J. Weirsky, 54, of Alpha in Warren County hit the $273 million Mega Millions drawing.
